Firefly Video – "Unable to display the generated video" with harmless reference images

Hello,

I would like to report a recurring issue with Adobe Firefly Video when using reference images for image-to-video generation.

I am creating a music video using the Adobe Firefly Video model. Several image-to-video clips from the same project have previously been generated successfully.

However, Firefly is now repeatedly failing on a specific sequence and displays the following error after the generation attempt:

"Unable to display the generated video. You can edit it and try again."

I have attached a screenshot showing the exact error.

The START and END reference images are also attached.

They simply show the same fully clothed adult male character in a cinematic close-up.

In the START image, the man is looking downward with his hands clasped in front of him.

In the END image, the same man looks directly toward the camera.

The requested animation is extremely simple. The exact prompt used was:

"The man slowly raises his eyes and looks directly at the camera.

Static camera."

Despite this, Firefly completes the attempt but then reports that the generated video cannot be displayed.

I performed several troubleshooting tests to isolate the problem.

I tried using only the START image, simplified the prompt, changed the composition, removed the hands from the face, removed other characters and environmental elements, and eventually tested a completely different and very simple reference image containing only one fully clothed adult man.

The problem persisted.

At the same time, Firefly Video is not generally unavailable on my account.

Text-to-video generation works correctly, and I have also successfully regenerated another image-to-video sequence from the same project using its START and END reference images.

This suggests that the issue may be related to how certain reference images are being processed rather than a general Firefly Video service failure.

There is no apparent sensitive or prohibited content in the attached images or in the requested animation, so I cannot determine what is causing these specific generations to fail.

Could the Firefly team please investigate why these reference images result in the "Unable to display the generated video" error?

If the generated video is being blocked by an automated safety or moderation system, I would also appreciate clarification as to what element of these harmless reference images is triggering it.

I can provide additional failed reference images, successful examples from the same project, and further test results if needed.
