Firefly Won’t Let Me Generate Any More Images After Just a Few Uses
After Google searches and looking through the Adobe forums, I see that Firefly issues are rampant. I am spending a fortune for this monthly Creative subscription. They show all of these videos about all the things you can create. So I was excited to take my 4,000 credits and start exploring. First, I want to see the difference between the different engines. So I created a text to image prompt that I wanted to try with each engine and see which I thought was the best. I went through the 4 Adobe engines. Very poor results. They didn’t really follow my prompts and the results were very amateurish. So then I clicked over to the third party engines. I was immediately hit with the message “Slow Down. For security reasons we limit too many generations in a short amount of time. Please try again later”. There are so many things wrong with this message. First, it was only my 5th or 6th generation in a matter of weeks. Weeks ago I spent hours creating videos and images without ever receiving this message. Yet within 5 minutes of this session I was suddenly blocked. And this was at 3:30 am ET, so not a highly trafficked time on their servers. The message gives no real explanation for why it occurred. And worse, it gives you no estimate of when you can try again or how to fix the issue. So you are expected ti just keep coming back dozens of times only to get the same non-descript message. I researched online and read about ad blockers, clearing cache and such. But this is not the problem. I get the same message on a Windows laptop, a Macbook, an iphone app and an ipad app. So Adobe charges you a massive amount of money and then blocks your ability to generate anything with no warning and no answers on when you can resume. And since your credits don’t carry over to the next month, Adobe can just run out the clock and cause you to lose thousands of credits. This seems criminal. After reading the multitude of similar issues I smell a class action lawsuit. I can’t imagine this product being any worse than it is. This in addition to the hundreds of credits I already wasted by Adobe’s engines generating unusable garbage that didn’t come close to following my prompts. Hot garbage. Shame on Adobe for such a horrible user experience.
