Generating video with first frame being a famous painting

Firefly refuses to generate video, with the first frame being the famous "Ophelia" painting. No matter which model is selected, it either returns an error or message about not adhering to content guidelines. Gemini will generate this video, with identical prompt and first frame. Firefly won't - even if Veo 3.1 is selected. Veo 3.1 will generate the video without a problem in Google's AI Studio.

Is Firefly really this buggy?

Interesting. Can you share that goat image?

Hi, thanks for the response - but even if I use my own image (me and my sister when we were little, holding a baby goat outside) - the same error occurs. Tested on PC and in the Android app. Same error about content guidelines....

Hello @_peterslavik_,

Thank you for your message.

Because the Firefly model is intended to be safe for commercial use, some images cannot be used as reference images or keyframes, including copyrighted material, trademarks, and things such as famous paintings. Other models might allow for the use of these things, but they are not intended to be safe for commercial use.
