Generative fill produces black screen on the selected area

Dear Team Adobe,

I am writing to report an issue I am encountering with the Generative Fill feature in Adobe Firefly. Specifically, when I select the area I wish to be generated by AI, a black screen appears instead of the intended image. I have attached a sample image showcasing this problem for your reference.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter as soon as possible.

Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Best regards,
Manpreet

The solution for me was to install an older version of photoshop and then there's a pop up asking you to agree to the T&C when you open it. You click agree and gen fill works. Then you can go back to the new one and it behaves. It was the box not popping up basically.

(I did have it one other time when the firewall was blocking something it needed)

Had the same issue. Just make a new selection (don't delete the first one) and then ask forr ti to generate a fill again... works for me.

Same for me. Just black in the fill space - any solutions?

@Manpreet_HTC, I think the new version of Firefly today fixes this problem. I have not been able to reproduce it with my testing of the new release today.  Please try again and let us know.  Also, they added generative expand to generative fill!  Thanks for your patience.

There have been reports of degraded results using generative fill since the recent update. Adobe is aware of this problem, but has not advised here when they expect it will be fixed. Please thumbs down these images and mark them as distorted/unexpected content/not relevant to prompts/poor quality and provide additional feedback:

I am not sure if you have access to Photoshop, but if you do, its generative expand/fill does not seem to be having these issues.
