Generative Fill/Removal Not Working

I am experiencing an issue with the Generative Fill/Removal tool in Adobe Firefly. After uploading an image and brushing over the desired area to mask it, the 'Remove' / 'Generate' button completely disappears from the user interface. I am unable to process any removals because the action button is missing after making a selection. I have tried clearing my cache and refreshing the page, but the issue persists

    Could you try logging out of your Creative Cloud app and then log back in? This has helped me with other issues before.

    Could you create a full screen video of your workflow showing us what is happening? This would help considerably.
