I burned through 2000 credits and didn't get anything I needed. The prompts were totally ignored.

Prompting is a lot of trial and error. Saying that consider reaching out to the community to assist w getting the desired results before burning through unnecessary credits. 

Could you provide an example of your prompt and ref image?

When I use a reference image and want to keep the reference I tend to use one these prompts at the beginning of the Prompt.
