i can't edit in fireflymode with brush as usual

Sorry about the issue. The feature that you’re referring to Generative fill: https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/web/edit-images/transform-images-using-generative-fill/add-or-replace-objects.html
You can edit your image after making a selection while using the brush tool.
