I cannot get access despite the email

I was sent an email stating that I have access last week (my email is brianrinaldi@gmail.com) but I have been unable to access it. It still tells me to request access.

When posting this I caught the error. Your email was sent to brian.rinaldi and this account is brianrinaldi. I have logged in using the dot and it works.
