Subject: Request for credit refund/adjustment — Firefly video generations with incorrect text (26 Apr 2026)

Hello Adobe Support,
Today (26 April 2026, Australia/Melbourne time), I generated approximately six videos using Adobe Firefly. Each generation consumed credits; however, none of the outputs was usable because the on-screen text in the generated videos was misspelled, despite my entering the correct spelling in my prompts.

As the results did not match what I requested and the incorrect spelling makes the videos unusable, I’m requesting a refund or credit adjustment for the credits used on these six generations created today.

I can provide the prompts used, timestamps, and screenshots/video captures showing the misspelled words in the outputs. Please advise the best way to submit the generation IDs or links so you can review and process the refund/credit adjustment.

Thank you,
Kelly Sharples

    Hey @pnlmckeown

There are certain tools that do a better job. for Pie Charts and other charts, I would use Adobe Express it is a free app with a paid premium.

After you select or add your image, press add content.
Within Add Content there are many options to add graphs and other bits.
Your credits generation can be used in Adobe Express.

Feel free to join us on Adobe Live. Ask Qs and see how different tools work.

Thanks for the reply, but can I animate this where the small section separates from the main chart ? I have seen the program that you are talking about but it doesn't seem to animate … ah well

    Hey @KellySharples

Prompting is a lot of trial and error. AI still struggles with spelling. Credits are deducted when you press generate. As long as you get a result, your credits are deducted.

When I don’t get a result that want, I delete the file(s) that is/ are not working.
    How to Delete multiple Files

    Delete multiple files

When adding text, I put the desired text at the front/ close to the front of the prompt. Put important info at the beginning of the prompt.

that's all fine but doesn't really respond with the initial point. If the outcome is not as desired the credits have been wasted whether you delete the files or not. In my case today I wasted hundreds of credits as the pie chart was supposed to say 1.7 million and 70,000 in a separate slice. when generated it changed to 170,000 and 48,000 … that's shouldn't be a struggle surely ?  then it changed the text from non speakers to a set of hieroglyphics that didn't make any sense whatsoever. Obviously I requested an edit which wasted 250 credits … and it was worse … every time it generated I gave a negative reply and explained what the issue was … so started with 4000 credits and am currently at around 500. This was just video … requested a simple cafe scene with young people and it failed to generate anything … have a screenshot showing the “Something went wrong - Please try again later.” but it still cost me credits …
