I'm trying to generate speech and Firefly keeps using another language instead of English. I tried starting from scratch and it keeps occurring. I do have US-English selected.

Here is a screen shot of my project. Every time I generate speech or even just test it out, it’s playing it in another language. I’ll have to switch over to ElevenLabs instead.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    I tested this on my side using the same text, voice, and model you selected, and I generated two versions:

    • Version 1: I left the language on Auto Detect after pasting the text.

    • Version 2: I manually re‑selected English (US), which replaces the Auto Detect setting.

    The first version didn’t switch to another language, but it did sound a bit off compared to the second version, which was much clearer and more natural.
     

    When you try again, please manually re‑select the language you want, even if Auto Detect already shows it.
