in firefly, I edit the prompts for a video I'm creating, but the video does not change.

The process of prompting and getting the desired results ends up being a lot of trial and error. Besides that you may get a bad seed. When you get a bad seed, I would recommend deleting the files that are not working and start fresh.
 

Steps to take:
- Delete the images that are not working for you How to Delete multiple Files

- Open a new tab and start over or with a reference image: style or composition image.

- Use a different model
