@Manusia36865807nfsf, I think the new version of Firefly today fixes this problem. I have not been able to reproduce it with my testing of the new release today.  Please try again and let us know.  Also, they added generative expand to generative fill!  Thanks for your patience.

@Manusia36865807nfsf, can you please share a screen shot?  There is currently a problem with generative fill which is causing blurry or distorted background fills. That might be what you are experiencing. Adobe is aware and working on a fix. Until that is released, if you have access to Photoshop, generative fill in Photoshop does not seem to be affected by this problem.  If we see a screen shot, we can tell you for sure whether that is the issue or it is something else.
