I've lost all my favourite images using Version 1

Saving to Favorites is too risky imho.

Either download or save to a CC Library.

Are you sure they are being saved at all? If you click on the heart symbol and then immediately go to your favourites page, is it there?

Also, what operating system (windows, MacOs) and version and which browser (and version) are you using?

My favourites are not saving once I shut down the computer, same computer, same browser, and haven't cleared the cache/cookies .

Are you using the same browser on the same computer where you favourited the image? When you favourite an image, it is stored in the browser cache of the browser you are using. So, they are not visible on other computers or devices, or even on another browser on the same computer.

If you are using the same browser on the same computer, have you recently cleared the browser cache/cookies? Clearing those results in the favourites being lost.
