Bonjour @Robin38355150s4za,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Favourites are stored in the browser cache when you save them. You can only access them on the same browser on the same computer. If you use a different browser or different computer, you will not see them. Even if you are using the same browser on the same computer, your favourites might disappear. Browser cache is not designed for permanent storage, so Adobe's use of it comes with some risk: that the favourites can disappear without a trace. Any of these reasons (and more) can cause your favourites to disappear:

  • you manually delete/purge your browser cache or your browser is configured to delete or shrink your cache
  • you run a utility that cleans your computer (and deletes the browser cache)
  • your computer runs low on disk space and the browser deletes things from the cache
  • you perform a system upgrade or install a new version of the browser
  • your computer is managed by a company/school/organisation which resets things such as the cache after the user logs out

This list above is a list I use in all of these cases, but the fourth one seems to apply in your case.

In most cases, you cannot recover favourites deleted from the browser cache. I said "most cases" because if you back up the area of your disk where the cache is stored, you can potentially recover. For example, on my Mac I do back up the ~/Library directory structure, and just this week had to restore the cache for Microsoft Edge because something was lost. But, most people do not do that. Are you backing up your entire computer with Time Machine (or something else)?
