Could you create a full screen video of your workflow showing us what is happening? This would help considerably.

How credits are handled in Adobe Firefly:

1. Credits are deducted IMMEDIATELY when you click Generate.

I have noticed something similar. As a result, I go and have a look in my Creative Cloud app to see if the image/ voice/ video has been generated before pressing “Generate” again to conserve credits.
 

How to reliably download your files
In your Adobe Creative Cloud you can find your files there and download them. Here s a short video showing the steps

Generating video with Firefly can be a leap of faith until you gain experience, and something I would personally avoid if I had a small monthly allocation.  Credits go a long way with still images, and you can learn about prompts etc. without using all of your credits.

If you absolutely need to create video, try Veo Fast at a 720P.  That uses just 40 credits for 4 seconds

Think about creating looping videos by using the same reference for both first and last frame.  You can make your credits go a long way doing this.  This used just 40 credits as an example.  (This is an animated GIF rather than a video.  You can find the steps to create them here.)

Or you can reverse a short clip so that the subject appears to dance.   This video used 400 credits because I needed the quality, but a single Firefly generation has been stretched to a minute.
