I'm asking for a specific number of elements to be generated, but that number is getting ignored.

Totally understand. I found by providing a hand drawn image of a say a round cake with four pieces helps FF a lot.
I suggest using Style Ref with a picture or hand drawn image of what you would like FF to do.

Prompt:

chocolate cake in four pieces, top down

Hello @Martin33446658pc6z,

Counting is not a strength of the AI image generators. As you know, this does create some frustration and it has been brought up before in these threads:

In the last thread above, I did discuss some techniques of changing prompts and using generative fill, but it is a challenging problem to solve, and at the end of the day, Photoshop might be easier to achieve exactly what you want. Another technique is to use a structure reference, such as a line drawing on the objects you want in the appropriate number/count.

Thanks,
droopy

Thanks, KR.

I was not specific enough. I tried to create a cake that should be cut into 4 pieces. Every resulting image though was cut into 8 pieces. I tried specifying "exactly 4" and the like, with the same result. I also tried "cut twice" but then I got very weird results.

Hi Martin Weiss!

Sorry to hear that. Are you seeing distorted text in generated images? If so, please know text and symbol generation in images still needs support in the Text to Image feature. You can report pictures with distorted or unclear text using the Report icon, which appears when you hover over a generated image. Also, you can take the image on Adobe Express and add text

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
KR
