P: Partner Video Models Missing/Unavailable on Firefly [Merged thread]
Hi Adobe team and Community,
I'm posting this because I'm trying to understand whether there has been a recent change to the availability of partner video models in Adobe Firefly, or whether this is currently a technical/account issue.
I am subscribed to Adobe Firefly Pro Plus. When I subscribed, the plan and its included features were presented as providing access to Firefly's premium creative features. However, after subscribing, I noticed that several video generation models that were previously available to me are now either missing from the model dropdown or appear to be unavailable.
In particular, I'm referring to partner video models such as Seedance, Kling, and other third-party video models.
What makes this particularly confusing is that:
- Some models were visible and usable previously.
- At other times, only a limited number of models appear in the dropdown.
- Sometimes the model appears in the interface, but after configuring everything and clicking Generate, Firefly says that the model is unavailable or that I need to contact an administrator.
- Refreshing the page, restarting the browser, etc. does not consistently resolve the issue.
- Other users are reporting very similar behavior, including cases where only around five video models appear and the rest of the list does not load.
I also found Adobe Community discussions describing very similar issues with partner video models disappearing from the Generate Video model list and later becoming available again.
My main question is:
Have these partner video models been intentionally removed or restricted for certain Firefly plans/accounts, including Firefly Pro Plus, or is this a temporary Firefly availability/technical issue?
If access to any of these models has changed, could Adobe please clarify:
- Which video models are currently included with Firefly Pro Plus?
- Which models are currently restricted by plan, region, account type, or other eligibility requirements?
- Whether Seedance, Kling, Veo, Runway, etc. are currently supposed to be available to Pro Plus subscribers.
- If these models are still included, why are they sometimes completely missing from the model dropdown?
- If a model is visible but returns an “unavailable / contact your administrator” message when generating, what exactly causes that restriction for an individual subscriber?
I completely understand that partner models can change over time and that availability may depend on specific conditions. However, the current situation is confusing because the subscription is paid for based on the features presented at the time of purchase, while the actual available models appear to change or disappear without a clear explanation.
Could someone from Adobe please confirm the current situation for Firefly Pro Plus subscribers?
I'm mainly looking for a clear answer on whether this is:
A) an intentional change in plan/model availability,
B) a temporary Firefly/partner-model outage, or
C) an account/entitlement bug affecting some users.
