Eventhough I have enough credits on my PRO PLUS plan, Seedance 2.0 does not generate video, having below response:
tried in different times, morning, noon, night- always same.
Can you please suggest something? Let me know if this is a recent and common issue.

Thank you for the update.

I tested Seedance 2.0 Image-to-Video again after your announcement, but I'm still encountering the same issue.

After I click Generate, the generation starts and shows "Creating video" for a few seconds, then it fails with the following error:

"The model you're using is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

The behavior is exactly the same as before the reported fix.

I have also tried using a private/incognito browser window, but the issue persists.

Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide to help investigate this issue.

Here are the settings I tested:

Model: Seedance 2.0
Resolution: 1080p / 720p
Aspect ratio: Widescreen (16:9)
Duration: 4 seconds / 5 seconds
Audio: On / Off
Reference media: 1 PNG image / 3 PNG images

I tested video generation with various combinations of these settings, but the issue remained.

To investigate further, I also tested different reference image resolutions.

A single reference image (6688 × 3768): Failed
Three reference images (6688 × 3768): Failed
A single reference image (1672 × 941): Generated successfully

A few days ago, even a single 1672 × 941 reference image failed with the same error.

It now appears that the problem is related to the resolution of the reference image. I have found a workaround and can generate videos successfully using a 1672 × 941 reference image.

hello, I tried to generate image to video again, this time receiving a different message, failed to create again.

Hello Jason. Yes, I've had that problem for the last two days now, and it's getting more and more frustrating. Like you, I also tried with the Firefly iOS app, and I also got the Error message:

“Gemini classification API returned HTTP 404. Model gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview was not found”

I contacted Adobe through their Facebook page yesterday, and they confirmed that they have escalated my case to their engineering team for further investigation. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Yes, I'm getting exactly the same error in the iOS app. I hope they fix it quickly because I'm literally stuck until it starts working again.

Veo 3.1 is/ was working for me.

Could you try using this at the beginning of the prompt?

All other video models are working fine. The issue is specific to seedance, affecting both the "normal" and "fast" versions.

Adding specific text to the prompt doesn't help, as the model itself isn't being called correctly when a generation is started. It seems as though the requests aren't reaching the seedance servers.

I think there is an issue with Firefly video generation using Seedance 2.0 / Seedance 2.0 Fast with image references.

Text-to-video works normally, but any image-to-video generation fails. I tested multiple reference images, including an original character, a screenshot version, and a normal AI photo of a cat. All fail with the same error.

Error message:
“Gemini classification API returned HTTP 404. Model gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview was not found or the project does not have access to it.”

This happens on both the iPhone Firefly app and the desktop browser version. It would be great if someone from Adobe could look into this. Thanks.

Seedance not working anymore when using references
Since this morning, Seedance 2.0 models (normal and fast) seems to have stopped working when using image references.

Pure text-to-video generation works. However, the issue occurs as soon as external media is uploaded to be used as a reference (or as initial/final frame). Shortly after starting the generation, it fails and displays an error message stating: "The model you are using is currently unavailable, please try again later."

This issue has been persisting all day.
It has been confirmed by colleagues in my studio, as well as by several other users in the Firefly Discord community.
It seems this might be related to a model routing bug. If I try to relaunch previously successful Seedance generations (that include references) from the Firefly iOS app, I receive a completely different error message about a model being unavailable, specifically referring to "Gemini 3.1 flash lite."

I'm experiencing the same issue, and it has been ongoing for the past two days. Kling and Topaz upscaling work without any problems, but only the Seedance model fails to generate anything.
