P: Unsupported Language notification on English words

I am trying to generate an image in front of the Chinese Mann theatre in Hollywood, and I am receiving a notification that Firefly only supports English... however I'm not using a different language, I'm only using the word "Chinese" - this feels very overblocking to me, as this prevents me from referencing any type of Chinese art styles, Chinese locations, or Chinese people or cultures, which feels... wrong. Removing the word Chinese allows the prompt to work normally.

Here is my prompt that was blocked incorrectly:

a Bugatti made entirely out of wood, driving through Hollywood by the Chinese Mann theatre, stylized, fancy, masterpiece, award winning, realistic, 8k, natural lighting, crowded with people

If you are seeing the Unsupported Language notice and have not used any foreign words or have feedback on the words you are using, please use this post to list them. The quality of our models will improve with time and your feedback will help us identify gaps. Thank you. (Merging all similar threads here so the team can access all requests on this issue)

The prompt "Mandelbrot fractal fire" results in the message:

Unsupported Language

Firefly only supports English at this time. Please edit your prompt and try again.

"Madelbrot fractal" or "Mandelbrot fractals fire" work as expected, though....

Hah, you are correct, it was the "Mann" - Would it be possible as a feature request to highlight the word that it's choking on? I could see this being a real headache in larger prompts when it decides it doesnt like a word "somewhere in the mix" - Also, surprisingly, it understood Bugatti just fine (and "Chinese theatre" as well).

Thank you for your feedback. Firefly is intended to only create images of public figures and non-trademarked content that are available for commercial use on the Stock website (excluding editorial content). It should not create public figures and trademarked content that are not available in the Stock data (ie Bugatti). Regarding the Unsupported Language notice, I believe "Mann" is the word it is flagging as non-English, not Chinese.

Hi dear Adobe Team,

I don't know if this is a model (LLM) problem, or a simpler bug, but in the text2img tool in Firefly it does a bad job of recognizing city names, at least German city names, especially when it's at the beginning of the prompt.

It does recognizes Munich, but not München. This is somewhat understandable, because of english language.
But then why does it recognize Berlin and Frankfurt, but not Hamburg? Could you please have a look into it?
Cheers,

Currently, Firefly only supports English prompts, but we expect to expand support to additional languages. As we open up to more languages, I would expect this to improve.

Also, the supported language filter is in my opinion too strict as well. If you try "a dog in Caravaggio style" it says language not supported.

Weird, I've never opened this as a discussion. I've just replied to a user, but the full post discussion disappeared!
