Photo settings seem to be ignored with certain prompts

I am using a prompt to generate headshots ("young professional portrait"), with Photo settings to create an in-focus background (f/22, 200mm). The photo settings seem to be ignored, even if I include "sharp background" or "in focus background."

It looks like the "portrait" and "headshot" key words demand an out-of-focus background or a flat background if it's kept sharp.

Using Safari 17 on Mac Ventura 13.6
