Problems with composition references not being followed since the release of model 4 [merged thread]

@Jakob MacDonald Have you tried lowering the visual intensity slider? I only use model 4 & I've noticed if it's 1 notch below the halfway mark my images are coming out exactly like I want. I also do not use reference images, so I'm not sure how it would look with an image there. 

I don't believe you'll get much help from adobe, I had posted plenty of screenshots & the answer was that it looked fine to them, even though it was nothing like I was looking for. I discovered the visual intensity slider on my own. So hopefully this might help you. 

Hi all, I'm wondering if there's been any movement on this issue? I've been trying to use the Composition reference to stylise some shapes using the style reference, it works great with model 3 but not with model 4 or 5(preview) the generated seem to create a background and overly the shape, but not generate 'inside' the composition as model 3 did. This is extremely frustrating as a user and having to default back to an inferior image gen like model 3 shouldn't be the solution here. Seems like this issue has been persistent for a while now, is there an progress on fixing this? 

I finally got my firefly to work a few weeks ago. If anyone is still looking for a solution. I only use model 4, so I haven't tested other models. Turn the intensity slider down to halfway or one spot lower. I do not use reference images, so this is the only solution I have found that works for prompting without a reference image. My images are coming out like they were prior to the problems that occurred. Hope this helps someone  

It has been impossible to convert a shape into a realistic texture reference. After I have seen a lot of tutorials online, all information points to insert a image in the struture field that doesn´t appear on my firefly. I have tryied to insert the image in the first field I found,called composition, but it seens to not do the trick as the tutorials say to use structure instead.  It is really desappointing using the tool since I pay monthly fee and still creating it by myself inside photoshop. 

Amazing how terrible Firfly's Composition and even more so Style Reference has become. When trying to match 3D styles applied to multiple isolated objects it used to require some finess, but Firefly got close and results were usable. Now it's absolute chaos and style matching is non existent.

stop asking for images you have 3 pages full of examples, the problem is still there since 5 months ago.. and people are paying for it

Thanks for responding. Yes I did try the vector for a different prompt, but I prefer watercolor style images. Just wish firefly was working properly for me. Do you know if there was an update or some type of bug happening?

The reference works on model 3, but the results are poor. This problem has existed for several months, and you still haven’t been able to solve it? Make an effort...

It doesn't matter what they RENAMED it. It works horribly now. And has ever since they changed it. The STRUCTURE version actually did what it said, I had amazing results. This COMPOSITION doesn't know what to do so it just does nothing. I've adjusted the Strength slider in every direction. Worthless. Enlighten me on my shortcomings?! What am I doing wrong?
