When using a reference photo, it does not seem to be working as far as composition or anything.

I think I figured it out,
It's about young humans, Firefly is not using the uploaded reference if the prompt contains anything related to "Young" or "Small," or anything similar. Changing the prompt by removing those words worked for me

Hello @Kaegis,

Could you please include a link to the problem generations and past the link(s) ito a reply? You can do that by pressing "K" then "B" as shown in this image:

The link will then be in your clipboard and you can paste it in a reply.

I used the reference image you showed above and it generated an image that followed that composition image:

woman wearing blue clothes seated holding arms out

So, I suspect it might be related to the prompt. If we can get to the generation page, we can better tell.

Hello @Kaegis,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Your composition reference images are generally not the best images to use as composition reference images. Composition reference images work best if there is not a significiant amount of detail, and there is high contrast between the object and background. In your images, there is a lot of detail and the shirt the model is wearing does not have sufficient contrast from the background.

In your first image, the lower left generation is actually not bad considering the issues with your reference image. It does not have one arm over the head, but it probably cannot discern the arm well because of the contrast issues.

You might want to actually sketch the pose you want and use that as a composition image rather than these images with this model.

Finally, you did not include your prompts, but prompts can be just as important as the reference images in shaping the generated image. Please include the prompts in future posts.

My best,

I tried many different ways and actually took out the background. Put as many descriptives as I could. I have used these kind of images before and it would work just fine. Today it was having a bad day.
