Request for Detailed Review and Resolution – Unexpected Generative Credit Depletion

Hello,

 

I am contacting you to formally request a detailed review of my Adobe Firefly generative credit usage, as I believe there is a clear discrepancy between my actual usage and the credits deducted from my account.

 

According to my plan, I am allocated 2,000 generative credits per month. Last month, I generated approximately 900 images and did not experience any credit exhaustion. However, this month, despite generating fewer than 500 images, my credits were fully depleted unexpectedly.

 

I would like a clear and transparent explanation regarding:

 

- A detailed breakdown of my generative credit usage for the current billing cycle

- Whether any Firefly features I used consumed multiple credits per generation without explicit notice

- Whether there were any recent changes to credit consumption rates, AI models, or feature costs

- Whether there was any change to my subscription plan or credit allocation

 

If my credits were consumed incorrectly, disproportionately, or without clear disclosure, I respectfully request a correction, compensation, or credit adjustment.

 

Please note that I am not requesting a general explanation, but a specific review of my account’s usage history to understand exactly how 2,000 credits were depleted in such a short time with relatively low usage.

 

I appreciate your assistance and look forward to a clear resolution.

Hey @Bahar_Talay7592 

 

Last month, you may have been part of the promotion depending on your plan : unlimited usage of certain Models and attributes. 

This might explain why you are consuming more credits than previously.

Which mobile phone and are you using the native Firefly app or a web browser?  In the iPhone app, the number of credits is shown at the bottom of the page:

Thank you for your message. Please note this is a user to user support forum, not customer service. We do not have access to your account and cannot see how your generative credits were used.

 

As you probably know, there is no per generation listing of how credits are consumed. It is important to look to the left of the Generate button to see how many credits will be consumed when you press the generate button:

The two changes that occurred on December 15 were that Gemini 3 (with Nano Banana Pro) by Google now consumes 40 credits per generation, and the promotion that allowed for some models to have complimentary generations was changed so that only certain plans were covered under the promotion. It is possible either of these impacted your credit consumption.
