Seedance 2.0 is not working. Every attempt to generate a video fails immediately with the error "Something went wrong. Please try again later." The issue persists across different prompts and reference images, preventing any video generation.

I am unable to generate any videos using Seedance 2.0. Every generation attempt fails and displays the message "Something went wrong. Please try again later." The error occurs consistently regardless of the prompt or the reference images used.

I have tried refreshing the page, starting a new project, changing prompts, changing reference images, and generating multiple times, but the issue persists. I have sufficient credits available, and the problem appears to be specific to Seedance 2.0 rather than my inputs.

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefly → Generate Video.
Select Seedance 2.0.
Upload reference images (or start without references).
Enter any prompt.
Click Generate.

Expected result: The video generation should start and complete successfully.

Actual result: The generation fails immediately with "Something went wrong. Please try again later." No additional error code or explanation is provided.

This issue is blocking my workflow, as I am currently unable to generate any videos with Seedance 2.0.

Same thing - Please try again later. Tried different browser, IP, even another account - nothing. At least allow audio uploading for other models like Veo and Runway. I need to lipsync my audio! Or be honest that you can’t host Chinese model adequately.

Hello Adobe Support,

I’m trying to animate an original illustrated character, Virtuoso, using Firefly’s image-to-video feature. Each attempt returns this error:

“We can't process this prompt because the reference image doesn't meet our User Guidelines.”

The artwork depicts a fictional cartoon boy in a fully clothed, nonviolent storybook scene. He walks through a forest toward his mountain cottage at sunset, with a lake and a small woodland animal nearby.

The requested animation consists of gentle walking, lake ripples, softly swaying trees, and a slow camera movement. I also tested the reference image with a simple prompt requesting only a gentle camera push, but received the same error.

Could you please review the rejection and clarify which element of the image is triggering it? Does the selected video model restrict references containing fictional child characters, or could this be an incorrect flag?

I can provide the reference image, exact prompt, selected model, and screenshot of the error.

SeeDance works particularly well w Animation and Cartoons.
Regarding having a video loop you will still need to do some final editing.

OH PLEASE! you know exactly the issues ur having, no need to elaborate any further! you’re either using an ai aggregator that’s not even seedance or ur just restricting any type of generation no matter what u do

SeeDance tends to work best with Anime and Cartoons.

System Details: Specify your Operating System (OS) and Browser (including version numbers).
Workflow Context:
- Which Firefly function were you using? (e.g., Text to Image, Generative Fill, Text to Video, etc.)
- Which model was selected? (e.g., Firefly Image 3, Image 4 Ultra, Imagen 3).
- The full prompt you were using.
- Copies of any reference images, keyframes, or original images used.

Other suggestions

Try a different web browser (or an Incognito/Private window) to rule out browser extensions or cache issues.
Disable any active VPN, ad-blockers, or strict firewall settings temporarily.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies (see image below):
