Seedance 2.0 is not working. Every attempt to generate a video fails immediately with the error "Something went wrong. Please try again later." The issue persists across different prompts and reference images, preventing any video generation.

I am unable to generate any videos using Seedance 2.0. Every generation attempt fails and displays the message "Something went wrong. Please try again later." The error occurs consistently regardless of the prompt or the reference images used.

I have tried refreshing the page, starting a new project, changing prompts, changing reference images, and generating multiple times, but the issue persists. I have sufficient credits available, and the problem appears to be specific to Seedance 2.0 rather than my inputs.

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefly → Generate Video.
Select Seedance 2.0.
Upload reference images (or start without references).
Enter any prompt.
Click Generate.

Expected result: The video generation should start and complete successfully.

Actual result: The generation fails immediately with "Something went wrong. Please try again later." No additional error code or explanation is provided.

This issue is blocking my workflow, as I am currently unable to generate any videos with Seedance 2.0.

OH PLEASE! you know exactly the issues ur having, no need to elaborate any further! you’re either using an ai aggregator that’s not even seedance or ur just restricting any type of generation no matter what u do

System Details: Specify your Operating System (OS) and Browser (including version numbers).
Workflow Context:
- Which Firefly function were you using? (e.g., Text to Image, Generative Fill, Text to Video, etc.)
- Which model was selected? (e.g., Firefly Image 3, Image 4 Ultra, Imagen 3).
- The full prompt you were using.
- Copies of any reference images, keyframes, or original images used.

Other suggestions

Try a different web browser (or an Incognito/Private window) to rule out browser extensions or cache issues.
Disable any active VPN, ad-blockers, or strict firewall settings temporarily.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies (see image below):

I can't use any video templates; the experience is terrible, even though I bought the most expensive package. :(

using brave on windows 11 model is seedance 2.0 the only model thats working for me is veo and gemini omni!

When I use a reference image and want to keep the reference I tend to use one these prompts at the beginning of the Prompt.

Seedance video generation not starting in Adobe Firefly

I am experiencing the same issue reported by several other users.

The Adobe Firefly interface is extremely buggy when trying to generate a video with Seedance. After several attempts to adjust the settings and restart the process, the video generation still does not start. I keep receiving the same error message mentioned by other users in this thread.

I have also tried using a different browser, refreshing the page, and starting a new generation, but nothing works.

At the moment, Seedance video generation appears to be completely unusable in Firefly. Is Adobe aware of this issue, and is there currently any workaround or estimated fix?

Please try running it again in an Incognito tab and let us know if the issue is now resolved. If not, could you please share the reference image(s), how many reference images and frames were added, and the settings (e.g. aspect ratio, resolution, etc.)?

Unfortunately, I have the same problem, and I’ve had this problem forever. Every other AI generation platform, every model works perfectly with my current set-up (browser, selected model, adhering to guidelines in terms of prompt language etc.) I’ve tried all the steps recommended to fix this situation, including the article referenced above, and none worked. And I have a decent amount of credits to benefit from on Firefly but I am never able to create a video (except for short ones using Kling). Seedance 2.0 never ever works. Just navigating the steps where we select the model, duration etc is problematic in and of itself, as I have to refresh several times until I get all steps to act ‘selectable’. It’s a shame how this interface is barely functioning and I have to watch thousands of credits go unused every month. As an AI content creator, this means I have to pay for more and more platforms. This interface needs an urgent face-lift and troubleshooting on serious level.
