Showing wasteful images

A number of times, I am getting bad images.  Some with no change, some with random pictures and some with added images that have nothing to do with the original image.  I hope I am not getting charged credits for this?

Hey @John_Paulsen9292

Adding and asking for bit of info to what @daniellei4510  mentioned.

Thank you for your message.

We need additional information to understand what is happening. Can you please reply with the following information:

Could you provide an example of your prompt(s)?

  • Common problems
    - blurry or busy backgrounds / images

    - dark or unclear subject
    - has children in the image (an absolute no/ firefly will not generate anything that even resembles a child)

    or

    - has words associated with children example: kid, kids, child, children and so on...
Generation Models will not generate anything to do with children

Besides all of this, most of us have gone through the growth process of experimentation, trail and error. I know I did not expect AI to give me a workable image straight out of the box. I accept that it is not one and done.

Cheers

Nate

You are charged credits for each image generation. You can view the number of credits you have by clicking on your avatar in the upper righthand corner. What AI model are you using? Some do a better job with different subjects and styles than others. After three years of creating text to images, it is not unusual for AI to produce my faulty or less than optimal results. That's not to say improvements aren't needed, but I have probably produced a minimum of 200,000 images during that three-year period, only about 10,000 of which I found usable enough to save. And even those have or will require anywhere from 15 minutes to three hours worth of editing. I also have a subscription to Nano Banana, one of the best and most versatile AI models available today. Getting the same image over and over again, without changes, or with added components I didn't ask for, is not unusual. It's simply the nature of AI as it stands today. That said, obvious bugs, improvements, and issues with partner models are certainly in need addressing going forward.
