I work with the latest version of Adobe Photoshop, actively using its built-in Firefly features for background replacement, Generative Fill and Expand, with the 2026 model. These are standard Adobe Firefly features within Photoshop; I am not using any third-party generative AI models.

Today, my workflow was abruptly blocked by the following message:

"Slow down. We can't wait to generate more content for you. You can try again in a few hours."

My typical pace is around 2 to 3 generations per 10 minutes, which represents a natural, manual retouching cycle per image.

Could you please clarify what triggered this rate limit? As an active subscriber and professional contributor, having to pause my work for several hours during normal business hours severely disrupts my daily operations.

How can I avoid these blocks moving forward? Is there a way to lift or adjust this limit for professional production workflows?
