Generating in Gemini 3.0 and 3.1 not working. “Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

I am experiencing a persistent issue in Adobe Firefly where the “Generate Image” feature fails continuously with the error:

“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

This issue has been ongoing for over 24+ hours and is preventing all image generation.

Additionally, I have noticed that:

Only the “GPT Image 1.5” model is working
All other models (including Gemini / Nano Banana Pro / Firefly Image models) are not working and consistently return the same error

I tested your prompt with a reference image of my own using the Gemini 3.1 model (2K resolution), and the generation completed successfully.

Could you please confirm if the issue still persists on your side? If so, sharing your reference image with us would help us investigate further.

When Gemini 3.0 Nano Banana Pro first came out, I had no problems. After Gemini 3.1 Nano Banana 2 came out, constant errors and very slow processing started to occur. I think this is due to high traffic, but working with Adobe Firefly has become torture. It's impossible to handle so many tasks simultaneously with just one process. These problems need to be fixed urgently, otherwise I will subscribe to different platforms.

Nah the problem is on Adobe Firefly’s end. Couldn’t generate anything here with VEO 3.1 fast, but had no issues doing the same on another platform.

FYI VEO is a 3rd party platform.

The red boxes are Firefly models. The gray/ white boxes are 3rd party models.

Image generation seems to work fine now, and VEO fast did work for some time, but now I keep getting the same “Something went wrong”-doggy of doom message.

Could you double check and let us know if the issue still presists.

Could you please reply with the following information:
An example of the prompt that you are using as well would help.

• A screen shot of the whole browser or application window (including your avatar in the upper right corner) with the error or problem showing or when the problem is happening (not just the error message itself).

• What model were you using (such as Firefly Image 3, Firefly Image 4, Firefly Image 4 Ultra, Imagen 3, etc.)?

• A copy of the keyframe(s) or reference images (if any) you were using.

This helps us help you. Sometimes there might be a trigger word in the prompt.
Common problems

Trademarked / Copyright
Political figures / Celebrities
if it has children or child like images (an absolute no/ firefly will not generate anything that even resembles a child/ even childlike)

or

- the prompt has words associated with children example: boy, girl, kid, kids, child, children and so on...
Many Generation Models will not generate anything to do with children.

I am unable to generate any images for past 6/7 hours, Yesterday also the same thing happened. I joined Firefly only two days back. All my plans and work are delayed.Is it a regular feature.

”. But that “later” is not happening. Can I trust firefly for my workflow.

Could you also consider deleting files that you no longer need?

This problem is obviously wide spread as there are so many of us with the same issue! Has been two days and that means that for many of us we are sustaining financial injury as deadlines have been missed. The seriousness of this problem can not be overstated given all the issues involved.

I am unable to generate an image to image. It isn't working - again. It happens every day.
As usual, I upload a picture, include the description of what I’d like it to look like, click generate and nothing. It just keeps trying to load but doesn’t. It also never indicates why it isn’t loading by providing an error code.

Can you please clarify, you mention that the Gemini model is failing but your second image shows you using the Firefly model. Are both failing for you. Note that there have been problems with both in the past day. You can see status reports of service outages on status.adobe.com.
