I am using FF on my desktop Mac.

Just want to know what this means. Until today, I have not received this message.

I have noticed that similar images that I had generated 4 months ago are appearing on different social media accounts.

For some reason I thought that FF generate fresh content.

Hello @Oh.N8,

Great to see you here!

I have received that error before and it seems to be transient. The second time, it would get the credentials. I attributed it to a timeout from whatever server is generating the credentials, but that is just from my experience as an IT professional, not inside information on how it works.

On your second issue, there are two possibilities. One is someone else generated an image with a similar prompt and it resulted in an [almost] identical image. Or, someone obtained your image already created (or link to the generation).  In the first case, it is mathematically possible, but I am not sure it is very likely a duplicate image was created. If you have more than one example, my doubt level would approach infinity unless your prompt is triggering something unusual.  In the second case, I would attribute the likelihood to be a security confidentiality issue. Somewhere where the image or the link to it exists, it was leaked (intentionally or unintentionally).  I am happy to help you investigate that further. You know how to contact me.

My best,
