this is what i had to do to make it work.

    Diagnostic Findings:

    • Browser Console: Opening Chrome DevTools (F12) showed multiple red errors: net::ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID for domains like p13n.adobe.io and cc-api-data.adobe.io.

    • Elements Tab: The HTML <body> tag was completely empty, meaning the JavaScript application was failing to fetch necessary data to render the site.

    • Root Cause: The computer's system hosts file had hard-coded entries redirecting Adobe's AI and data servers to 0.0.0.0, which acted as a "kill switch" for the connection.

Resolution Steps: If you are seeing ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID, following these steps may fix it:

    1. Clean the Hosts File:

      • Open Notepad as Administrator.

      • Open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.

      • Search for any lines containing "adobe" (specifically p13n.adobe.io or cc-api-data.adobe.io).

      • Delete those lines (especially if they start with 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1).

      • Save the file.

    2. Reset Network Cache:

      • Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

      • Run ipconfig /flushdns.

      • Run netsh winsock reset.

      • Restart your computer to apply the changes.

    Hi Derpsi,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Firefly is loading normally on our side, so the grey screen likely points to something local on your browser or device.

Here are a few things you can try:

    • Disable any ad‑blockers or privacy extensions

    • Clear your browser cache or try an incognito window

    • Make sure JavaScript and cookies are enabled

    • Try turning off VPN or switching networks

    • Update you browser to the latest version

You can also check the technical requirements needed to use Adobe Firefly.

If you still run into trouble after trying these steps, feel free to reach out, we’re always happy to help.
