type box resets typing section

place a text box, click within to start typing and the program automatically deletes the last word typed to insert the new text, tried double clicking as well but doesnt work, the program auto backspaces into the word behind and starts typing

Thank you for reporting this issue. To help isolate what is causing this behaviour, could you provide a bit more context?

Exact workspace: Which feature or module are you using when placing the text box (for example, Firefly Boards, Markup on an image, or the Adobe Express editor)?
Browser & OS: What web browser and operating system are you currently running?
Extensions check: Does the same issue occur if you open an Incognito / Private browsing window with all browser extensions (especially tools like Grammarly, LanguageTool, or auto-translators) disabled?

Additionally, could you share a full screenshot or short screen recording of your entire browser window when this occurs? Capturing the full window—including the address bar, canvas controls, and toolbars—will make it much easier to identify the exact tool in use and diagnose what is triggering the reset.
