Crop Preset Issues

Hello,

I've been using crop presets to make Retail screen exports. (splits a 16x9 video into 4 9x16 videos) The latest update has broken this crop feature.

It still works if i build the crop presets on my machine however when I share them with another user it no longer works and just defaults the crop to the center.

I've included a google drive link for assets to test.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WqCvs135gR757TpGMfEn2MEJh2Xmj3P1?usp=sharing

Any ideas?

The obvious solution is to have an older version of media encoder installed for the presets/watch folders, i'm trying to refrain from doing this as multiple users will be effected.

Cheers

The Bug was a regression on our side. Crop values stored within the preset were'nt honored on export. We fixed this issue and it will become available in the next AME beta (probably 25.4x11). It will also become available in our next upcoming release build.

Hey @Ian328481533ooz ,

we're actively working on a fix. I send you a mail with new presets that hopefully keep the crop values. Would you might giving them a try? Thank you!

Thanks so much looking into this.

These presets have been used  for around a year or so internally and with external freelancers with no issues sharing them and using them on different machines. This streamlines processes and been a great help so if this could be looked into that'd be amazing.

It just seems the crop function gets lost somehow when importing on another machine.

Cheers again
Ian

Hey Ian, thanks a lot for your help in repro'ing the issue. I will now talk to my team internally and see how and when we can solve this. So, you said that in prior versions those presets worked and sharing them between suites also worked, right?

Thanks again and sorry for the inconveniences,

Chris

This was my issue before. I can't seem to share presets with the wider team.

Cheers,
Ian
