Launching issue with Adobe Media Encoder

Hello,

I’m having an issue with Adobe Media Encoder. When I try to launch it, I get this error:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)."

I’ve already tried reinstalling the app, updating Visual C++ Redistributables, and running SFC scan, but the issue persists. Please help me fix this.

Please disable BitDefener fully to see if the issue goes away.

What exactly are your specs (OS, CPU, GPU, memory)?
Do you have any security or AntiVirus software installed?
Do other Adobe video apps like Premiere Pro or After Effects still launch?
