Media Encoder not working "unexpected error"

Hi,

I would like to encode a project from After Effects with Media Encoder, but it says: Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue. Cache-SSD is empty. What can I do? Media Encoder is also not starting as Standalone. Renderqeue in After Effects is working.
I am working on Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2, Betriebssystembuild 19045.4046, AE and ME, nvidia-driver are newest versions dated today.

I am stuck.

Cheers, Albert

Thanks, ok: I am using Norton and really shut it off for a few minutes to test. Still: I am not very happy that I cannot use Media Encoder.

As a background: We know that TrendMicro AntiVirus caused a lot of issues in the past. And this is out of our control because they manage allow and disallow lists.

Although I do not want to and for sure: it should not cause the problem: I tried to and it changes nothing.

Can you try to temporarily disable your AntiVirus software to see if the issue goes away?

Tried moving AME-Folders in documents, but still not working.

Did yo uupdate your list of exceptions in the Anti-Virus software? Just guessing here…

Yes. AME was running before. I think it stopped working after updating.

So the real issue here is that AME cannot launch at all. Do you have any antivirus software installed?

Did not think it matters: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz, 16GB RAM

No: I am not able to start Media Encoder at all (not standalone and not by sending comps from After Effects to Adobe Media Encoder)
