Adding Multiple Comps to Queue Wont Render Until Each Save Path is Clicked

Add single comp to RQ renders fine with default output path

Add multiple comps to RQ and it will fail until you click on each path and hit save (without actually changing the path).

The output path is valid either way, but there is an issue about how AE adds multiple comps to RQ.

Each item must have a valid file path.

Not sure you're understanding the problem.

That's not a workaround.  That's just how After Effects works if the file path changes.

Try adding one item, setting a valid path, and then adding more items.

Thanks. I dont want to set a new location though. The default path set when adding comps to the queue wont render. You need to clicl the output to name and either hit enter or click save.

To set a new location for multiple items in the Render Queue, click on the Output Module of the first item (click directly on the text “Output Module”) then shift-click on the Output Module of the last time and then set the Output To location for any one of the selected items.

Not sure if you solved your problem or not. Also you may want to try sending to Media Encoder.
