AE 2025 Opens an Untitled Project on Every Start Up (Home Screen is Checked)

This is maybe a minor annoyance but in software I use everyday is going to slowly drive me mad.  Since updating to AE 2025 every time I start the software it creates an Untitled Project, then I go to open the project I'm working on and have to go through a Save menu to get to what I'm working on.  Who wants this? Why? 

 

Settings > Start Up > Home Screen is already checked.  Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

    Hi @matthewf75131930,

    Thank you for reporting this issue. Could you share a screen recording of the behavior you're describing? After Effects has always opened with an empty Untitled Project, but we want to understand what aspect of AE's launch might have changed for you with version 2025.
