AE 2026 unable to save in a format an AE 2023 version can open

Im working wit AE for about 15+ Years. Since i can think AE was reliable in terms of opening old files in newer versions and also saving files from newer versions to older versions. As it turns out this is no longer valid. Ive tried to save an downword compatiable version off a new macbook AE 2026 to work on an other station with a AE 2023 on it. Since the other workstation has old but yet reliable hardware its not able to uptate AE higer than 2023. Now its just not anymor possible to save downward compatible files. you guys are just out of your mind.

    Hi ​@Render4life,

    Thank you for reporting this issue. We support saving back two versions from the current version (so AE 26.x can save back to 25.x and 24.x). If you install AE 2025 from the Creative Cloud app, you’ll be able to save back to 23.x.
