AE 25.2.2 Not Previewing - result in Pinwheel M3 MAX

I cannot generate previews in both recent versions of Adobe Premiere and AE. I get 1-5 minutes of edit time, then they freeze or the window turns black, and then I get a pinwheel. I have tried to roll back the software, but the same issue persists there and in the most recent Betas.

Premiere 25.2.3
AE 25.2.2
APPLE M3 MAX

48GB RAM

MacOS Sequoia 15.5

16 Core (12 performance and 4 efficiency).

I've made new files without the same file this is happening in, and the same issue persists. I cannot edit anything for more than a few minutes. I have...

Moved caches
cleared caches
etc. I have pretty much done every basic fix and everything mentioned recently in this community about this particular issue/update (which I cannot reverse even if I do roll back).

Any suggestions?

Hey @Slyfox_66,

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Are you by any chance working in the Advanced 3D render engine? If so, can you please post a screenshot of your Renderer Options dialog? You can find this dialog by clicking the Render Engine dropdown near the bottom-right of the Comp panel and choosing "Renderer Options." Can you also post a full UI screenshot of AE, making sure the Project panel and Timeline are also visible?
