AE 25 Dynamic link & Mask is not working, Preferences are not copied too

Problem 1:
Dynamic Link keeps getting disconnected after saving linked AE files.

Problem 2:
Cannot select a point on masks also cannot select multiple points on masks.
I had to draw a point, delete that point, and only then i could select a point as a work around..... but still wasnt able to select multiple points..

Problem 3:
All preferences and keyboard shortcuts didnt copy over to ae 25
