AE can't continue advanced 3D plug-in generated an unexpected exception

The moment I try to drag in or manually import 3D objects into AE (latest version) this happens. I checked almost all the other posts on this issue, but none of the solutions worked for me unfortunately

I tried:

reinstalling (and reinstalling to default path), running as admin, making sure my username and AE file path does not have unicode characters, checking if the 3D models are faulty, resetting prefrences, purging cache and updating and changing gpu driver's type (game ready to studio)

specs: Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX 1660 super (noticed someone had a similar issue with this graphics cards line) but to my research, this supports advanced 3D right?

What can I do further? please help!

LETS GOO I finally managed to fix that @defaultdtqkxlnl11ao @nishu_kush @AidanEdits !
I went on and did a true clean installation for everything adobe on this machine: I uninstalled AE Illustrator and PS (make sure to back up your prefrences and presets)

after that, I went into safe mode and started cleaning up all the new and old adobe folders inside my C drive and programs installation directories (appdata, ProgramFiles, ProgramfilesX86, ProgramData) clearning adobe files and creative cloud files etc. The rest is quite simple, I reinstalled everything again and AE worked fine and Avanced 3D and Draft 3D are up and running now!

I should note this: some of the files where in a dynamic link states or junctions (which means they exist elsewhere and I linked them to save space in the C drive earlier)

I hope this fix works to whoever reading this if all else didn't.

I guess it's just something wrong with the 3D renderer (the AE renderer) itself failing to initiate.

Since C4D renderer is working fine and element 3D also works fine, its only draft 3D and Advanced 3D having the issue

To my simple understanding I think the issue is not about hardware, since even AE itself shows my GPU and shows that draft 3D is available, reading the logs I only noticed that the "Do Move Item" item is where the exception occurs and idk what that indicates or means, I've tried every other existing solution. I'm just coping at this point xD

I have the same issue. I have the latest version of AE in a high-end desktop. but  when I open an empty project and make a composition and a solid layer and then check the convert to 3d layer, it causes the same error.

Am I just cooked gng?

Yeah, I confirm that the moment I switch to advanced 3D the program attempts to crash

I will try your new fixes once I'm home, for the formats I tried it was obj and glb and I confirmed they are not faulty by loading them into blender. although the default windows 3D loading them is enough evidence

Appologies, I just realized you already said you've tried switching drivers in your original post.

The new logs show the error occurs as AE is trying to initialize the model during import. We should confirm if Advanced 3D Renderer is working on its own. In an empty project, create a comp with a simple Solid or Shape layer. Make the layer 3D, and switch to Advanced 3D Renderer. Does this cause any issues?

Also, what type of models (.obj, .glb, .c4d, etc) are you importing? I see in your post you checked if the models were faulty. What checks did you do to confirm this? Are there any models of any type which you are able to import?

sry for the delay but I'm experimenting with drivers specially that nvidia released a new driver with bug fixes.
