AE fails to launch do to missing font

I just downloaded AE for the first time and it will not open due to missing font (AGM Adobe Clean Bold). I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, I have resynced Creative Cloud several time, I have started in safe mode and changed preferences and disabled third party apps several times.

I have two other apps installed and operating well (Premiere and Illustrator).

PLEASE HELP.

    Hi phuematicgerm,

    The mention of AGM Adobe Clean Bold is the interesting part. Adobe Clean is an internal Adobe UI font, not a font that normally comes from Adobe Fonts sync.

    Since Premiere Pro and Illustrator are working, this feels less like a missing font and more like AE failing to access a shared Adobe component. Can you share the exact error message and your OS/version of AE? I hope we can help you.
