AE is crashing when trying to open

hey, i just got the 7 day test for AE, but its always crashing when im trying to open the app.

im on windows 10, rtx1060. other specs i dont rlly know but they should be good enough to run AE. 

On windows safe mode, it said: after effects error. crash during processing, last logged message: <19192> <DS> <0> GPUSniffer() encountered total GPU failure.

also before it said some plugin was the problem but i believe i fixed it by deleting it.

In february this year i tried (or wanted to) try premiere pro, back then i remember it having similar problems and crashing when trying to open.

I really need help quick, thanks.
