Greetings!

I have

which I had for some time and AE worked just fine. Then suddenly it began to misbehave - freezing after several minutes of work, just a rotating circle instead of cursor. The comp is not affected, just AE is freezing. So I have to force quit it. Although I am in Moscow, Russia, not everyone here is an evil pirate) so our company pays for a license, so I reinstalled AE via Creative Cloud, removing preferences and settings, to no avail. I cannot figure out what could be a problem, it began yesterday, and not going away( No changes in configuration or setup, no obvious trigger…. No error messages, no warnings...

Also, if I need to quit AE before it freeezes, it starts to freeze then, and fun lollipop begins to rotate...

HI there,

Really sorry to hear about the issue.

Is it happening in a specific project? Can you test it on a new project and see if the issue persists? Also, try running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your kind input! ) I noticed it is not dependent on any projects, now I am inclined that indeed plugins are to blame! I installed the latest version and I get warning on every launch that many plugins I have are not compatible with the laters version, I will need to go back to discontinued Intel processor Mac in order to use them)))

With the bestestest wishes! )
