After Effect crashing

Hey

After Effects memory allocation errors are killing my workflow—64 GB RAM shouldn’t struggle! Fix your RAM handling or give us better tools to manage it. Tired of purging cache every 5 mins!

Its just crashing just a background video and 2 to 3 png images, I cant's animate or preview my timeline

I Attached all the screen shot of it

I just imported 2 video file and 2 png in it to make 5 Sec video

For this it consumed 50% of memory

If it's happened like how I'll work 1 min project

Thanks for getting back. I can't see any screenshot that shows the error. The screenshots you've shared show memory usage which seems completely normal. Also, it tries to use the RAM and other resources based on the media and effects used, to provide the best performance. If it is using 50% of the RAM for a short video, it doesn't mean that it'll use 100% RAM on longer media and then drop the performance. After Effects preview works differently if compared with an NLE. It has to load frames in RAM which are indicated by the green line in the timeline.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,
Nishu

Thanks for writing in, Pradeep.

Could you share more details about the project you're working on (details of media and effects used)? Does it happen with multiple projects? What error do you get? Can you share screenshots?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu
