After effects 25.2.2 Crashing when openning

Hello! 

 

So i was working on a project whothout any problem until yesterday, basically it's a really "simple" project without any 3rd party plugins or with high 3d or FX.. Sudenly my project wont open anymore, when i try to open it it pops a warning of cache (but i already clean it, give it more space, etc) it loads the project and the moment i try to do something it crashes. Is there any fix to thisor a workout? I have also tried to import the whole project into a new one, does the same thing. Can't even get the error file, it erases as AE crashes.

 

Need urgent help! Pls.

Specs of System:
AE (Beta) 25.3 / AE 25.2.2 (same problem on both)
MacOS Sonoma 14.7.4
Chip M1 Pro
32GB Ram
1TB SSD

    So, in the end i have to redo everything almost. I tryied to change psd names, replace them, but didn't work.. Make new comps, replace, don't work... erasing expressions, didn't work... So i created new comp without psd, without 3D, only texts with expressions, seems to work, added the 3D camera (that had the right position from the original comp) PUM it crashed... so i figured it out it was a problem with camera (dont know what exactly)... then i had "multitreading" error... so at the end: created new comp, redo expressions, redo texts (without psd's), redo cam animation, turned off multitreading.. aaand it worked... now i can render and the project isn't crashing anymore.

    Thank you, I will try whith that and will come with the answer, because i already have tried all my tricks, reinstall, open in diff workstations.. hope its a corrupted PSD or something!

    Looks like one of your Photoshop/PSD files is causing AE to crash. Unfortunately I can't see which one from the log file. So I'd suggest perhaps renaming the path to any PSD files to see if you can get the project to open. And then relink the PSD files one by one to see which file is causing the issue. Once you have that file, open it in Photoshop (if it will open) and try saving it out again and then linking that back into the AE project.

      I can't share the project unfortunatelly, but for shure i can share the log files.

      Is it a project you could be shared so we can download it and see if reproduces for us here on the team? 

       

      If not, please try enabling logging (Help -> Enable Logging), restart AE, reproduce the crash, then Open AE, Help -> Reveal Log Files, and post the "After Effects Log (last).txt" file so we can see what the crash is.
