After effects application error 0xc0000142

After updating after effects to version 25.3.1, i cant manage to launch it because of this error. The problem was solved when reverting back to version 25.2.2, because 25.3 did the same problem, what can I do to be able to update it?

After updating to AE 25.3. or 25.3.1, I cannot open the application. When I do, I get an error message (see attached). For now, downgrading to the previous version (AE 25.2.2) has fixed this issue, but I would like for this to be fixed so I don't miss any new features/performance updates.

Thank you for reporting this issue, sorry you've been having this difficulty with the latest version of After Effects.

The error you're seeing is generally seen when DLLs (libraries) cannot be loaded, but that can have several different root causes. In looking through this related thread—https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/can-t-open-after-effect-on-windows-10-error-0xc0000142/td-p/12839494—please try the following:

Uninstall and reinstall After Effects
Update Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes for Windows
Check that your BIOS is up to date.

Please let us know if any of these resolve the errors.
