After Effects crea dos iconos con extensión .CRASH en mi Escritorio y al mismo tiempo AE no se abre

Hola,

Cuando intento abrir After Effects 23.3 en Windows 11, no se abre y al mismo tiempo crear dos iconos en el Escritorio, estos icono se llaman AfterFX_2026-08-23_205305.crash

He intentando ejecutar en modo Administrador, pero no funciona.

Tampoco puedo actualizar After Effects a una versión reciente ya que mi laptop tiene 8gb de ram.

(Tengo también Photoshop y este si funciona)

¿Alguna solución?

Actualicé la RAM a 24 GB, también restablecí el sistema operativo de mi Laptop e intenté instalar After Effects versión 25, pero tampoco funcionó, el problema sigue, After Effects sigue sin poder abrir, aunque se muestra las opciones de reparación de errores (adjunto screenshot), pero no funciona ninguna de las opciones de reparación.

(En mi otra Laptop puedo abrir After Effects versión 22)

¿Hay alguna solución?

Hi Robert, thanks for the update — you've done a lot of testing (RAM upgrade, OS reset, trying AE 25) which is really helpful.

A couple of things to try next:

1. Did you update the GPU driver after reinstalling the OS? There's a newer version available for your GPU here: https://adobe.ly/4yhJdMk — worth updating and trying again.

2. Have you tried running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled? https://adobe.ly/4ypsAPO

If both of those don't help, could you share a short screen recording showing the AE launch and the crash? That might give us a clue about what's failing.

Hola Nishu, gracias por tu respuesta. Intenté con las otras 2 opciones que dijiste pero tampoco funcionó.

Actualicé el controlador al mas reciente e intenté iniciar en modo seguro y desactivando plug-ins pero tampoco funcionó.

Hi Robert, I've seen this exact pattern before — usually it's caused by an outdated GPU driver. Could you share:

1. Which GPU your laptop has (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel integrated — with the specific model)?

2. Your current GPU driver version.

Update to the latest driver directly from the GPU manufacturer's site (not through Windows Update, which often lags behind), restart, and try opening AE again. That's fixed similar issues in past cases.

Also worth knowing: 8 GB of RAM is below Adobe's minimum requirement (16 GB) for After Effects. That could cause performance and stability issues once AE is running, so worth planning for a RAM upgrade if this laptop allows it.

El GPU es NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
Versión del Controlador NVIDIA Studio 610.88

(Otras características de mi Laptop es: Intel Core i5-10300H CPU 2.50GHz 10TH GEN)

Actualicé el controlador desde la página de NVIDIA y reinicié mi Laptop. Pero el problema sigue.

Lo extraño es que vengo usando After Effects desde hace casi 3 años con la versión 23.3 y con 8GB de Ram y no me había dado problema, hasta este mes.

He intentado también encontrar la versión 23.3 de After Effects para hacer una instalación nueva, pero no lo encuentro en la página de Adobe ni en Adobe Creative Cloud. Esta es mi otra pregunta ¿Donde puedo descargar esta versión?
