After Effects Extremely Slow!

I'm using a Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 128GB RAM, and working on After Effects has become extremely challenging. The preview bar consistently freezes, rendering only a portion of the animation, and loops without completing the preview rendering process. Tasks that should be completed in a day are now taking longer.

 

I've already taken steps like cleaning the cache and managing memory, but I'm unsure of what else to try.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciate.

    Hi all,

     

    After Effects has been improved. Can you install the latest version and see if the issue persists?

    I'm having the same issues. it's nearly unusable now.. Mac Studio M2 Ultra w/64Gb

    I have the same problem since 11 months, especially when trying to preview something. The problem seems to me, the combination of AE and either Ventura or the Mac Studio... Do you use Ventura btw? 

    I tried to contact Adobe via this site, but the problem solving process is really lazy,... Seems to me, like they just released an unfinished version of AE, that is acting worse in this new environment of Mac.

    I would downgrade, but I cannot, due to having a new Mac.

      Sometimes happend to me, too. I use windows 11.
