After Effects is crashing no matter what i do. Last log message was: <82802> <FontServer>

MacBook Pro. 2021.. M1 Max. 64 GB

Happening to both After Effects 2025 and 2024

 

Full error alert is:

Last log message was: <82802> <FontServer> <5> 3 Changed ctSync_msec:327 ctSeed:1 dicts:1393 total_msec:366

 

I've removed corrupt and dublicated fonts from Font Book

I've used Terminal to clear Font Cache

I've restarted my Mac and re-installed both AE 25 and 24. I've run on safe mode and restarted preferences. It keep crashing

 

Sometimes it opens without crashing, so i can do some work - but when i work with Tracker and either try to change the options to "stop when under x% confidence" or try to simply apply the tracking data to a layer, it crashes with this message:

Last log message was: <72305> <RenderThreadExecutor> <1> Creating executor with 10 threads.

 

Worst thing: the crash logs are empty

(atleast to the ones i find in ~/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe After Effects 2025

Also having this issue, After Effects will no longer work at all, done a clean install, and crashed on first click in a fresh project. Cleared Cache/Media Folder & Reset Prefs

Has this been solved? I'm stuck and doesn't look like im going to hit deadline

1. Both actually; sometimes immidiealty when launching, then sometimes after working when i do anything with tracking

2. Most of the times the crashreports are empty, zero bites.

 

I've clared cache. Ran it. Crashed immidiately. Message: 

Last log message was: <179220> <FontServer> <5> 3 Changed ctSync_msec:1823 ctSeed:1 dicts:1459 total_msec:1873


I've run on Safe Mode and disabled 3d plugins - it still crashes

    Sorry to hear about the crash. Please share the following details:

    1. Does it crash on launch or while working?

    2. Are there any crash reports after the crash? If you see the crash reporter after the crash, please provide your email id to it and submit. We'll be able to find the crash report in our system.

    Here's what you can try:

    1. Clear the cache: Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache.

    2. Try running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled if you haven't tried already.
