After Effects keep crashing (37::3)

After effects keeps crashing after about 5 minutes of use with the error message saying (37::3) and something about not enough ram. This is just shortly after starting a projects and starting to animate. I have 64 gb RAM installed and really thought this would be enough for normal 1080p animating.... Please help, this has rendered my first week of AE useless...

Well none of that sounds good or normal. Any chance you can record your screen, and go into Preferences -> Memory & Performance to make sure you have memory allocated to AE, and then reproduce the problem so we can see it happen.

When it does crash, are you submitting the crash report? Do you see the submit crash report I guess I should ask first.

I get the code 37::3, and then an endless popup box that says its out of RAM. I have to go into task manager to kill the process. There is no project to share, i never get further that adding an image and making a 1080p composition before it crashes. Have tried with differend images. its the 2023 version.

Is AE actually crashing or just telling you it is out of memory?

Can you share the project?

Can you share more of your machine specs?

Can you confirm which version of AE you're running on?
