Apple Log 2 Prores

When importing Apple Log 2 into my timeline, on playback before importing it's flat and as it should be, but when I import it AE applies colour and exposure resulting in a weird, highlights clipped, strange version of rec709 look to my log footage. Anyone else encountered this?
